At #IMC2022, 7 synthesis workshops on overarching topics were organized to discuss contents from serval focus sessions  and/or to work on additional issues (https://www.imc2025.info/imc22/synthesis-workshops/). One workshop was entitled “The blue gold rush – water management and related power structures” and a summary of the workshop is available for download. 

Thanks are due to the organizers and all contributors for sharing their outputs. For #IMC2025, again all kind of (head)water related topics will again be much appreciated as contributions from sciences are crucial to transform water related conflicts into cooperation for water management and supply.
